Harbison Special HSU Members Meeting
All HSU members are invited to attend a special union meeting next Wednesday 23 June at 5pm at the Mittagong RSL Club to discuss our way forward in the Harbison EA negotiations.
Harbison have ignored our claims for improvements to key working conditions and now a majority of staff have voted no to one of the lowest wage offers in the aged care sector.
This comes after the Fair Work Commission last week ordered a 2.5% increase to minimum Award rates for 2021 - a higher increase than Harbison was offering to staff across both 2020 and 2021.
This special members meeting will be making important decisions about the way forward.
The meeting is open to HSU members only. Anyone who is not yet an HSU member is encouraged to join the union now so that they can attend and participate.
