Project Information

Hancock Hardin Wyandot Putnam Community Action Commission (HHWP CAC) is evaluating the transportation services that are provided within Hancock County in order to plan and adjust services to better meet the transportation needs in our county. We want to hear from our riders and community members on how Hancock County can improve its transportation services to be more efficient and reliable for the community.
About this Survey

This survey is a follow-up to the initial HATS Rider and Community Survey that was distributed in Fall 2023. This survey shares information on three different transit alternatives, that will help determine the future of transportation in the City of Findlay and Hancock County, and asks for your feedback on what you like and don’t like about each idea. These ideas are called scenarios.

Why develop transit alternatives?

Transit alternatives are developed to help illustrate tradeoffs between each scenario and allow our community members to give direct feedback on different options. These options may be considered for future implementation based on funding that is available for improved transportation service in Hancock County but will not be implemented in the immediate future. The alternatives in this survey are ideas that HATS may consider based on community support but implementation of these alternatives would require additional studies and outreach over multiple years.
