The town of Hampden is updating its Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP). This plan looks at Hampden’s parks, open spaces, natural areas, and recreational facilities. It also sets priorities for the next 10 years.
The Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee is working with the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) to update the plan. This survey is one way for residents to share how they use Hampden’s parks and open spaces, and what improvements they would like to see.
This input will help shape a 10-year action plan. The plan will guide how Hampden protects open space, improves recreation areas, and stewards important natural resources.
Your feedback is important. An approved OSRP helps the town qualify for state and federal funding for open space protection, recreation improvements, and related projects. Please take a few minutes to answer all applicable questions. Thank you for your help!
