1. UPWP Submission Form

This form is for use by FBRMPO member governments in submitting planning projects for inclusion in the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). Each year the MPO has the ability to program some of its planning funds into special studies or projects for its member governments. Federal Highway Administration Planning (PL) funds cover 80% of the cost of the study and the requesting agency must come up with the 20% local match. Private funds including grants from non-profits can be used for part or all of this match. The UPWP covers a Fiscal Year running from July 1 to June 31. The UPWP is adopted in the March prior to the fiscal year it covers. For example, the FY 2010-2011 UPWP will be adopted in March 2010. If your study is not for the current year, you do not need to answer the questions about how the local match will be funded yet, but please let staff know if you believe assistance will be needed to find that funding.
