Dear Potential Training Attendee Team:

Thank you for your interest in attending the "Enhancing Culturally Responsive Practices in the Courts Training" presented by the U. S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), in partnership with Casa de Esperanza, the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, Ujima, Inc.: The National Center on Violence Against Women in the Black Community and Center for Court Innovation.

As a result of this training, participants will be better able to:

·       Identify role-specific responsibilities in implementing culturally responsive practices in the courts.

·       Assess culturally-specific barriers survivors may face in the criminal and civil justice systems and design strategies for overcoming those challenges.

Before you begin, partially completed applications will not be saved. We recommend that you set aside a few minutes to complete the entire application. You could also save your answers on a word document ahead of time, and "copy and paste" when you are ready to answer each question.
