At WorkPac the health and wellbeing of our people is our top priority. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is evolving we would like to remind our employees that there is no cause for panic.

We are conducting a compulsory 3-minute survey across all our employees about Coronavirus (COVID-19), your wellbeing, and your recent and future travel plans.

*Close contact is defined as anyone who has been within 2 meters of a person infected with the virus for a "prolonged period of time," as well as those who have had direct contact with the infected person's secretions.

If answered yes to any of the above, you are to contact your local WorkPac representative immediately so we may conduct a phone screen and guide you as to your next actions before returning to the workplace. All workplaces will require you to answer similar questions upon arriving on location.  Calling WorkPac and advising first is mandatory. 


Guide of actions required: 

If you have answered Yes to Question 2 or 3, do not enter the workplace, contact your doctor by phone to arrange a health check and appointment if needed, and isolate yourself until symptoms are completely resolved. Use cough etiquette and avoid other people.  


Self-isolation is required if you have met the following criteria:  

If you have no symptoms and answered yes to Question 4. Self-isolation is required for 14 days from your last contact.  

If you answered yes to Question 5 please remember every person arriving in Australia from anywhere overseas is required to self-isolate for 14 days from date of return.  If you remain symptom free by the end of the 14 days, you are cleared to return to work.  

If you answered yes to Question 7, WorkPac will conduct an assessment on date noted of your return and advise you of actions required 

If you answered yes to Question 10, You are required to undertake precautionary isolation, for 14 days after the date of return of the traveller. If you remain symptom-free by the end of the 14 days, you are cleared to return to work.

If you have answered No to all the above, you are able to enter the workplace and continue with business as usual activities.
