Manufacturing Input Survey

Southwest Virginia manufacturers are being asked to submit their input to assist in a project to help identify talent pathways within the K-12 to college system to support careers in manufacturing.

The Appalachian Council of Innovation (ACI), in partnership with GENEDGE, The Southwest Virginia Alliance for Manufacturing, and Workforce Development, was awarded a grant to develop pathway strategies to support careers in manufacturing. The GO Virginia Region 1 Talent Pathways Initiative is designed to encourage and support workforce-related collaboration among business, educational organizations, and governmental bodies related to Advanced Manufacturing.

To assist with the task of developing a comprehensive talent pathway analysis, we would greatly appreciate it if you would give us 3- 5 minutes of your time to fill out this questionnaire.

In addition to this survey, be on the lookout for opportunities to participate in a series of roundtables where we will dive into what is working and what needs improvement regarding Advanced Manufacturing businesses needs related to employee and future employee talent pathways.

Some of this data will be used to help us in planning our initial roundtables.

We will share the aggregate data from this survey with responders. Contact information from responders will not be included in this shared data.

As a thank you for your time to complete this survey, your name will be entered into a drawing for a gift card. Multiple participants will receive gift cards.
