Kindness Scholarship |
Are you a high school senior about to graduate and planning to continue your education? Then you may wish to apply for the Liberty Bank Kindness Scholarship! Three (3) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate kindness in everyday moments that have a significant impact on their community.

- Application must be received by May 24, 2024
- Scholarship Award: Three (3) winners $5,000 each
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Kindness Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Graduating from a high school in a town served by Liberty Bank. For a list of locations, visit www.liberty-bank.com/locations
- Enrolling in an accredited college, university, trade school or other institution of higher education
- Parent/Guardian (if student is under age of 18) or student is willing to share their story with Liberty Bank and consent to the story being displayed on Liberty Bank website, social channels, etc.
- Family members of Liberty Bank employees are not eligible to participate
- Recipients of the 2023 Kindness Scholarship are not eligible
How to Apply
Please complete all requested information, including your signature and that of your parent/guardian (if student is under age of 18), and attach the following documents:
- Your official transcript from your high school
- A list of your community, volunteerism and/or extracurricular activities that demonstrate kindness
- A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, administrator or community leader
- A 500-750 word essay on what kindness means to you and on how you’ve demonstrated the core principles of Be Community Kind in your community that made a significant impact on others.
We cannot consider applications that are late, incomplete, or missing any of the supporting documents.
