The purpose of this survey is to determine the languages used by children and their families served by Local Early Steps programs in order to meet section 303.25 of the IDEA, Part C regulations. Native language may be considered a written or spoken language that is not English, and is the primary language used by the family, caregiver, and/or child. Your response will inform how the Early Steps State Office will proceed in translating program materials, including the IFSP and related attachments, prior written notice and other consent documents.
