We’re Healthwatch Suffolk. We record people’s experiences of NHS & social care services so that we can work with the people that run or fund them to
shape and improve local care.

We want to understand what it’s like for people living in local care homes. Tell us what you think about the home, what’s working well and how it can be improved. Whether you choose to take part or not, the care you receive will not be affected in any way.

Things you need to know before taking part...

We will use the information we gather about people’s experiences, to write a report about care homes. The report will be a public report and will also explore the experiences of care home residents, and care home staff. We will seek to use the findings to shape and inform positive change. You can choose to only answer the questions you feel comfortable with.

All responses are anonymous and we will not ask for your name. Our report will therefore only include anonymous experiences and won’t show where responses have come from. In certain circumstances, such as where safeguarding or illegal activity is involved, we have to report it to protect you or others. If you tell us that you or someone else is at risk of harm, we have a duty to pass on that information.

Thank you for taking part.
If you are a relative or friend of someone in a Suffolk care home, we would also like to hear from you.
Please call us on 0800 448 8234 to ask for a copy of our friends and relatives survey.
