1. Introduction

Thank you for taking part in the Community Survey for the Victoria Plains Economic Development Strategy.

The Shire of Victoria Plains completed a major review of our Strategic Community Plan in 2022.

During the process it identified the need to develop an economic development strategy to stabilise its population, to support and diversify its business base and plan and prepare for current and future opportunities occurring within the boundaries of the Shire and around it.

This survey seeks to capture your views and insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the Victoria Plains economy now and into the future.

The results of the survey will be used to identify key competitive advantages and priorities for the Strategy.
