Associate Membership Category Survey
|
Hello,
We are very excited to share that the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (Association) has created a new Associate membership category. This category offers licensed practical nurses (LPNS) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPNs) the benefits of membership while we explore the possibility of expanding the Association to officially represent all nurses.
Associate membership offers many benefits including free professional development sessions; discounts on products and services through our Perks for Nurses program; online resources and supports; and membership in the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) with the opportunity for CNA certification in gerontology and the potential for more to come. Benefits are detailed on our website at arnm.ca.
As of July 1, the 2019 Associate fee which includes CNA membership is $105.30 + GST due to CNA’s half-year rate. The 2020 annual Associate fee will be $142.45 + GST.
The 2019 Student fee is $25.00 + GST.
We value your input and hope you’ll take five minutes to provide your feedback below about your interest in a professional association; which perks and benefits you would use; and what you’d like us to do for you as a member.
We look forward to continuing to consult with you as we move forward in exploring the expansion of Practising membership to all nurses. By becoming an inclusive provincial nursing body, the profession will gain a strong advocacy voice. RPNs and LPNs would have a professional voice, our group rate for professional liability protection from the Canadian Nurses Protective Society, and the opportunity to vote and sit on the board.
