About this survey

The City of Ryde is helping its residents to improve the efficiency, affordability and comfort of their home by offering free home sustainability assessments through the Home Waste and Sustainability Advisory Service. The service will give you smart solutions and tailored efficiency advice that will help you increase home comfort whilst saving money on your bills.

How do I participate?

1.      To be eligible for this service, you must live in the City of Ryde.

2.      Complete the following Home Sustainability Survey

3.      Provide energy and water usage from your recent utility statements

4.      Complete the final Home Sustainability Evaluation

Participate in this service for your chance to win one (1) of three (3) prizes of $1,500 toward sustainable home improvements. Please see our full Terms & Conditions for further information.

The following Home Sustainability Survey is expected to take about 30mins. Please take the time to answer the questions honestly and as fully as possible. If you are unable to answer or do not understand a question you can skip it and come back to it at a later time if needed.

Applications will close on Sunday 30 June 2024.

Personal information collected from you is held and used by Council under the provisions of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998. The supply of information is voluntary, however if you cannot provide, or do not wish to provide the information sought, Council may be unable to process your application or request, or consider your submission. Please note that the exchange of information between the public and Council, may be accessed by others and could be made publicly available under the Government Information Public Access Act 2009 (GIPA Act).
