An Evening Journey Through Art and Poetry 2016

Are you a poet or an artist looking to have your work seen?  We are seeking poets and artists to participate in Real Life Theater's 3rd Annual Evening of Poetry and Art, Friday, April 22, 2016 from 6:30-9:00 PM at Bethel Gospel Assembly 2-26 E. 120th St., New York, NY 10035.  We are only able to accept 10 poets and 10 artists, with each poet being allotted 5 minutes to perform.  Each artist will be permitted to showcase 3 pieces (with curator's discretion being used if they are smaller works).  All artwork is permitted to be auctioned, poets may also bring work to sell (books, CD's etc) with 10% of proceeds going to Real Life Theater and South African Missions.

* 6. Real Life Theater is a ministry whose mission is to reach, teach, and encourage all people. Please understand that due to our mission, we ask that all work be sensitive in subject matter and that you refrain from using derogatory language.

Poets, please submit a copy of each work you wish to perform to reallifetheater@gmail.com, While we do not plan on sharing this work with anyone, we highly suggest that you either copyright or certify your work.  If it is a work in progress, please send a short paragraph about your poem(s).

Artists, please send us a photograph(s) of the work you plan on displaying.  If they are works in progress, please send a detailed concept and if possible, a picture of the work in progress to reallifetheater@gmail.com

To be considered, all submissions are due by Monday, February 22nd, 2016.
