Transport Survey

We want your feedback on the Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme!

Drivers operating trucks transporting loads of 42.5 tonnes and above are required to undertake WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation.

Part of this is the requirement to complete 3 mandatory online modules.

·         Maintenance Management

·         Fatigue Management

·         Dimension and Loading

For those operating under the Accredited Mass Management Scheme (AMMS), there is the requirement to complete another module.

·         Mass Management

WAFarmers is taking part in the review of the Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme in WA and has created the following survey:
1.Are you happy with the current accreditation system
2.Would you support the introduction of telematics (electronic logbook/GPS tracking) to replace the manual log book?
3.Would you like to see HMMS (10% tolerance) removed and replaced with AMMS?
(AMMS is a permanent concession that requires truck scales or weigh bridges and permits extra mass up to 17.5t (tandem axle) or 23.5t (tri axle)
4.Would you like to see agricultural vehicles separated away from general transport regulations?
5.Have you had a positive or negative experience with your auditor?
6.Would you like to see auditor inspections replaced with an annual roadworthiness inspection?
7.Any additional comments?
