Technology Survey - March 2018

The Housing Task Force is interested in collecting information about the use of assistive technologies (see definition below) to increase, maintain and improve independence and quality of life of persons with a developmental disability to live, work and participate in their community. We would like to collect this information and put it in a format that can be shared with others so everyone will benefit. Would you please take the time to share your knowledge and experiences with us?

Please note the survey will remain available for responses until Friday, March 23. 

* 2. What technology devices, apps or programs do you use at home, at work and in your community to make you more independent?  

* 3. Please list all the technology you use including Name and Brand and answer the following two questions below.

* 4. How does this technology help you?

* 5. Does this product meet your needs, What would be better?

* 6. Do you have any low tech methods to promote independence? Examples: installing additional safety controls on a stove, alarm systems, phone checks, and neighbour check-ins?

* 7. Is there anything else you would like to share or recommend regarding technology, devices, programs or apps?
