Tasmanian Labor has announced a proposal to introduce five days of kindergarten in public schools, alongside universal pre-school for three-year-olds delivered through long day care settings.
The proposal includes:
- Up to 30 hours per week of play-based kindergarten in government schools
- Expanded before and after school care
