Designing HTML animations for various browser platforms

Please take this survey to help us understand your decision making process and needs while choosing certain target browser platforms for your projects and assessing content needs for down level browsers

have access to the latest and greatest features of HTML5 & CSS3 today, to create really engaging content

make sure that I can create content targeted for all relevant browsers, even if the browsers do not support HTML5 & CSS3 features

* 2. For my content to run on browsers that do not support all the latest HTML5 & CSS3 features (like Internet Explorer 8 and lower), I'd prefer that my animation tool...

DOES NOTHING specific and lets me worry about supporting those browsers.

DISABLES FEATURES that do not work on those browsers (e.g skew, rounded corners, rotate etc...)

provides a way to create/add a fallback POSTER IMAGE with an embedded link that would show up instead of the animation on those browsers.

provides a way to create/add a fallback STATIC HTML page that I can design in the tool and would show up instead of the animation on those browsers.

allows me to create a Flash animation alternative (SWF) just for those browsers.

I pick the browser platforms that I THINK my customers are on

I pick the browser platforms that my CLIENT WANTS

I search for BROWSER SHARES online (w3schools, statcounter... etc) and use that to make the decision

I refer to MARKET RESEARCH STUDIES on browser shares in the market and use that to make the decision

I refer to the browser ANALYTICS DATA from my past/ similar projects and use that to make the decison
