I'm working with a client to publish his first book. It's a humorous (and sometimes irreverent) story about his experience with continuous chronic headaches. It took 2.5 years of persistently pushing beyond what medical practitioners were telling him, but he finally found a cure for his situation.
The intent of the book is to use his story to highlight key lessons he learned that others can apply to their own experience with adversity, regardless of what the case may be.
He will be speaking on this topic as well, and intends his talk to be inspirational/motivational.
