Construction can be challenging, but the result can be rewarding for your business. We recognize that businesses located in the work zone have special needs. It’s critical that your customers can access your business and that you can continue regular operations with as little disruption as possible.

For these reasons, the City of Mill Valley requests your input in the form below. We will use this information to do our best to mitigate the construction impacts on your business operations, customer and employee access, and delivery services.

Your feedback is essential to the initial planning process. We thank you in advance for filling out the survey.

About the upcoming construction

At this time, we estimate that the City will conduct Sanitary Sewer Repair in the late summer of 2019 through January 2020, and Street/Sidewalk/Storm Drain in the Summer of 2020. Construction will be phased, so that the impacts are concentrated in one area at a time. Construction will generally take place Monday-Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

There may be some night work, depending on the construction phasing and community needs. There will not be work on weekends. There will be a construction moratorium for the winter holidays from Mid-November 2019 to January 6, 2020. Additional information is available here.
