Thank you for your interest in the Peer Specialist Mental Health Certificate Entry Course which is operated by Richmond Area Multi-Services, Inc. (RAMS) and funded by the San Francisco Department of Public Health with Mental Health Services Act (Prop 63) funds. We are currently seeking applicants for the Spring 2021 Cohort.

About the Entry Course
This course is designed to prepare individuals and family members of individuals who have lived experience in behavioral health services with basic skills and knowledge for entry-level peer provider roles. The Peer Specialist Mental Health Certificate Entry Course has successfully completed 20 Cohorts, and has over 300 graduates. The Entry Course runs two times annually, in the fall and in the spring. Qualifications
In order to qualify for this course, please note that you must meet the following requirements:
*at least 18 years of age
*resident of San Francisco
*successfully completed at least a high school education or GED
*identify, or have family members who identify as, having lived experience in the behavioral/mental health system

*have a stable internet connection
*have enough computer skills to comfortably navigate basic platforms such as email
About the Online Course
The Spring 2021 Entry Course will be held online. Access to a stable internet connection and ability to navigate basic technology is a requirement.
