This program is offered by the Towson University Center for STEM Excellence and the Healthy Harbor Project. It is open to 5th grade science teachers in Baltimore City Public Schools. For more information on the workshop, please visit the Harbor Scholars website.

In order for a teacher from your school to be considered further, we must receive this form, which reflects your support for their participation, no later than March 31st. Applicants who do not have a Principal Support Form submitted by this date will not be considered for the workshop. Please note if more than one teacher from your school is applying, you will need to fill out a separate form for EACH applicant.

I understand that the teacher indicated above will be facilitating a MWEE (Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience) in their classroom during the 2020-2021 school year, integrated with the City Schools' Save the Bay unit. I agree to support the teacher as they implement the MWEE, including a student action project to address a local environmental problem. Funding of up to $250 for action project supplies will be provided by the Harbor Scholars Program.
