Request Smoke Alarms for Your Community
With funding from a FEMA Fire Prevention & Safety grant, the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation (PFFWCF) is offering free smoke alarms for fire departments to install in the homes of at-risk populations in their communities.
If ordered prior to June 19th, smoke alarms can be picked-up at the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association Conference June 22nd-25th. Otherwise, pick-up or delivery can be coordinated at any time. If demand exceeds supply you will be added to a waiting list for free smoke alarms. If we are unable to provide you with smoke alarms and/or If your fire departments is interested in purchasing smoke alarms at a reduced rate of $12.47, we are putting together a group purchase that will be placed on Monday, June 26th, 2023. The smoke alarms we are providing for this round are powered by non-removable, non-replaceable batteries that power the alarm for a minimum of ten years and are enclosed within a tamper resistant housing. The specific model number is First Alert / BRK SA350B.
