Want to be a Constituency Liaison? Apply for the 2024-2026 term now

There will be a provincial election this fall, which will be the first election to take place with new and adjusted district boundaries. The government elected will have a huge impact on how our policy recommendations are received by the Ministers of Health and Children and Family Development – and how HSA members’ demands are treated during bargaining.

As new districts do not yet have an MLA and some MLAs are not seeking re-election, we will briefly be pausing the Constituency Liaison program this fall (September-October). The program will resume after the next government is formed and cabinet announced. We will need to have a strong presence with MLAs quickly after the cabinet ministers are announced. Constituency Liaison workshops will be scheduled in the spring and fall of 2025 – stay tuned for dates!
