In 2024, BARBRI published the Barometer: SME Law Firm Talent Report, exploring how small and medium-sized law firms were responding to early‑career recruitment, qualification pathways, skills development and retention pressures.

Two years on, we’re revisiting these themes to understand what’s changed, what’s improved, and where challenges remain.
