UPDATED HEALTH REPUBLIC PHYSICIAN SURVEY

As has been widely reported, health insurer Health Republic has been shut down by the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) for grossly inadequate finances. MSSNY, working together with other health provider associations, has been strenuously advocating to the Legislature and to the Cuomo Administration for a Guarantee or other fund to assure physicians are fully paid for the care they have provided to their Health Republic insured patients.

We thank the many of you who provided data a few months ago detailing the amounts you are owed, but we need to obtain updated and more precise numbers since many legislators have asked us for more specific information.
