Medical Consultant

Location: Fatimafert Site, Sheikhupura

Education:  MBBS, preferably with some qualification in Occupational Health & Safety

Experience: Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in health care field. Candidate with experience in Occupational Health and safety will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the medical center at the Plant and ensure provision of all medical facilities to the employees and their dependents under applicable rules and regulations
• Respond to medical/health related queries of the employees and provide initial consultation including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.
• Provide medical services to employees families residing at the Plant housing colony
• Coordinate with panel hospitals and doctors for efficient In-Patient and Out-Patient medical services to the employees.
• Set up a structured Occupational Health (OH) and Industrial Hygiene Management System in the Company.
• Ensure that the employees including contractor staff are aware of health risks associated with their respective  areas of responsibility and are trained to mitigate these risks and prevent occupational illnesses and injuries
• Coordinate and control the record of medical supply usage with fore ordering of appropriate medicines and supplies.
• Supervise all medical related activities of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives of the Company.
• Establish and maintain medical equipment to ensure safe, clean and continuous operable condition\
• Respond to emergencies and advise appropriate actions to be taken
• Conduct awareness sessions for employees on commons illnesses and health related issues.
• Conduct pre-employment medical examination of selected candidates
• Conduct periodic health assessments of employees.
