We currently locating specific provincial funds that are exclusive to community enhancements. These will be put towards work on upgrading our powwow dance arena, the stage and seating. The 1st phase will be directed at the Dance Arena and middle arbour. Please see the following options and help us determine our preferences. NOTE: The middle arbour is not used by many Powwows in other communities but most common in our territory and surrounding communities. Please share your thoughts through this survey.

1.We are working to upgrade our Powwow Grounds, starting with the dance arena. Would you rather see us:

Rebuild the middle arbour big enough to accommodate 6-8 drums

Remove the middle arbour and install a large 3 Pole Centre Piece (1 for each fire)

Have no structure in the middle at all

2.Our dance arena, (the grassy area), is said to have more than enough room. Would you feel comfortable expanding the seating and roofing another 10'-15' inward to Make more room for seating and less room for dancing? Or leave it the way it is?

3.The temporary lighting that surrounds the arena was a temporary set up. Was the lighting to your satisfaction this past year?
