🎨 Pemberton and surrounding communities, let’s create a mural together!
Something colourful is coming to town, and we need your help to make it happen! We’re building a community mosaic mural, a giant image made up of a lot of hand-painted tiles created by YOU.
Here’s how it works:
We’ll start with one big picture.
That picture will be divided into many smaller tiles.
Each tile will have a guide showing which colours to use.
You’ll paint your tile, and when we piece them all together — bam! — one huge mural will appear for everyone to enjoy!
But first… we need to pick the big image!
Should it be a tree? A fish? A heart? Something entirely different? Since this is a community mural, we’re leaving the decision up to YOU.
Vote in our poll by September 10!
The design with the most votes will become the mural. Once we have our image, we’ll trace it out and host several painting days this fall where anyone can come paint a tile (dates and location to be announced).
The finished mural will be installed on the small amenity building between the skatepark and the parking lot, facing the Community Centre.
