The Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. athlete fund was created to help fund eligible athletes who otherwise would not have the financial means to participate and have already maximized their annual funding allotment through other funding sources such as KidSport or Jumpstart Charities.
All information provided is kept in the strictest confidence. The information contained on this application form is used solely for the purpose of adjudicating the grant request. Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than that for which it was collected.
What does the Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. Athlete Fund cover?
SYSI Athletes (U7-U19) could be eligible for up to, but not guaranteed, financial support of $500.00 per child per calendar year (Jan - Dec).The Athlete fund will cover the cost of registration fees for qualified families, and fees can't be applied to equipment, camps, travel, clothing, tournaments, team fees etc.
If further financial assistance is required a request can be submitted for review by the SYSI office, but there is no guarantee that the request will be granted.

- Currently registered with one of our five (5) member zone association or SYSI Alliance Academy
- In good standing;
- KidSport and/or Jumpstart funding has been maxed; and
- KidSport and/or Jumpstart funding has been maxed; and
- Meet Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. financial criteria

The deadline to apply:
You must register your child with a Zone or the Saskatoon Alliance prior to applying for funding from the Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. Athlete fund. You should apply as soon as possible after your child has been registered, as it can take up to 30 days for applications to be processed.
Funding cannot be applied to programs that have already ended.
