Thank you for your interest in the Mariposa Transit Free Fare Pass Pilot Program! This is an application for the program and should take about 5 minutes to complete. Here’s a quick overview of how it works:

Selected participants will receive a pre-paid transit pass. Passes are intended only for people who live in SLO County.
The pass will be pre-loaded with funds that can only be used for transit, including buses and Amtrak, within San Luis Obispo County.
With this pass, you can ride transit for free—no need to purchase passes in advance.
When boarding, simply tap the pass on the card reader, and the appropriate fare will be deducted.
A limited number of passes will be available during the program’s first year.
If you are selected to receive a pass, we will contact you with next steps and participation details. As the first round of applications for passes has closed, you are applying for the second round that is set to go out sometime in the Fall of 2026.
