Economic Impact Study of Potential Widening of Highway 7 (Brock Township

The Kawartha Lakes Community Futures Development Corporation (KLCFDC) with the support of the Ontario Rural Economic Development Program is working closely with consulting group Explorer Solutions in the preparation of a well-defined economic impact study to assess the economic impact of widening (four-laning) Highway 7 (from Brock Township to Carleton Place). This assessment will seek to estimate the direct, indirect and induced economic impacts generated along the Hwy 7 corridor as a result of a potential widening to four lanes.
