IAHSS would not be a successful organization without volunteer leaders – like you!

Most opportunities are one- or two-year terms, beginning on Jan. 1, 2027.

If your interests and qualifications are a match for an opening, then a Board or Council leader will reach out to you to provide more information. If there are no openings currently in your area of interest, we will save your response and reference it for future openings or when new projects arise.

20.Volunteer Responsibilities:
• Attend all meetings and/or participate in all conference calls unless prior arrangements are made with the appropriate IAHSS team member.
• Complete all committee/task force assignments according to established timelines.
• Abide by all IAHSS policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including the bylaws and the IAHSS Code of Ethics for the Security Professional.
• Act in accordance with the best interests of IAHSS at all times and report all actual or potential conflicts of interest to an appropriate IAHSS team member.
