AWARDS NOMINATIONS
The Annual Awards Dinner is a key CHCG&IA event. Not only does it promote the yield and quality achievements of our industry within the Central Highlands in a broader state and national level, it gives a platform to acknowledge the enduring commitment and innovation of our members.
This survey is where you lodge a formal nomination for the below two service to industry awards, the CHCG&IA executive will review the nominations, assess via criteria and elect the award winners which will be presented at the Annual Cotton Awards Dinner.
1. Grower - Service to Industry Award
2.Non-Grower - Service to Industry Award in memory of Liz Alexander
Thank you to Cotton Australia and the CHCG&IA for sponsoring these Industry Awards
At this event there will be yield and quality awards presented for cotton grown in 2024 and picked in 2025. See below for more details
A reminder for growers that if you have paid a full grower membership ($400) for the 2024/2025 season you are automatically entered into the yield and quality competition. With this you consent to Bayer providing the hectares which cotton was grown on for each of your TUA's and for Queensland Cotton & Louis Dreyfus Company to provide the total number of bales ginned and the quality information of your cotton picked in 2025. This information is kept confidential in the Awards Committee and is used solely for judging of the CHCG&IA Cotton Farm Yield and Quality of the Year Competition.
Please keep in mind that only paid grower members are eligible for the yield and quality awards.
If you have concerns with the above conditions or do not wish to be included in the awards data collection, please contact the president and secretary in writing to secretary@chcgia.org. This request will then be confirmed by return email.
