2026 MOVA Training Academy (MTA) Leadership Track Application

The MTA Leadership Track is a four-day in-person advanced training. By filling out this application, you are committing to attending all training sessions as well as the evening graduation ceremony if your application moves forward for participation.

The MTA Leadership Track learning community is designed for students with over 3 years of experience providing direct services to victims and survivors of crime.

What It Means to Have the Training on a College Campus
Hosting the MOVA Training Academy on a college campus provides the opportunity for students to experience an optimal learning environment where students have access to peers and mentors both inside and outside of the classroom. You'll attend sessions in classroom spaces, stay overnight in one a campus residential hall with a private bathroom and sleeping space (room), eat meals in the dining hall with your peers, and have access to shared spaces for optional evening activities. This environment encourages connection, focus, and a sense of community during your time at the MTA.

Overnight Option
MOVA has reserved an apartment style residential hall. MOVA will pair 2 individuals to an apartment unit, and each will have a seperate bathroom and a seperate sleeping area (room). This residential hall will only be occupied by MOVA staff and MTA students. Overnight accommodations are included in tuition and will be available for the full duration of the training only (single night requests N/A).

Cost and Cancellation
The cost of the Leadership Track attendance at the academy is $200.00. Payment guidance will be shared upon acceptance to the academy. The cost should not deter anyone from applying. Upon acceptance, if your organization needs financial assistance, MOVA can connect with you or your organization to discuss support.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that spots in the academy are limited. While we aim to accommodate all eligible applicants for participation we may not be able to accept multiple participants from the same program or agency. Additionally, if you are accepted but unable to attend the academy in its entirety, your spot cannot be transferred to another individual within your organization.
