2026 Health Officer Retreat Application

NJACCHO is sponsoring a limited number of participants to attend the 2026 NJACCHO Health Officer Retreat, taking place April 14–15, 2026, in New Brunswick, NJ. Applicants should plan to attend both days of the retreat. At this time, the requests for overnight accommodations are extremely limited. Folks requesting a room will be put on a waitlist as needed.

Eligibility:

This opportunity is intended for currently licensed Health Officers, with priority given to those actively serving in a Health Officer or Assistant Health Officer role.

Licensed Health Officers who are not currently serving in a formal Health Officer role and/or who are working in another leadership capacity may apply; however, acceptance is space permitting and requires a recommendation from their Health Officer. Space is limited.

Interested Health Officers are encouraged to apply early, as registration confirmation will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, to start, one individual per health department will be accepted.

Other interested and eligible professionals are encouraged to apply but will be placed on a waiting list until space can be verified. Please note, waitlist members will begin to be considered on March 13th.

Attendance Includes:

Eligible and selected participants will receive the following:
- Complimentary two-day conference registration
- Meals: Lunch on 4/15 and breakfast and lunch on 4/15; as well as coffee and snacks.
- Self-park fees for 4/14 and 4/15

Optional Overnight Accommodations:
A limited number of rooms are available for April 14.
*Priority will be given to participants traveling longer distances, as well as submissions sent prior to March 6th.
If you are interested in being considered for overnight accommodations, please be sure this is indicated in your application. Failure to include in your initial application will forfeit the potential consideration.

All other expenses, including travel and room incidentals, are the responsibility of the participant.

Accommodation Options
9.Overnight Accommodations:
The program is scheduled for April 14, 2026, approximately 11:30 - 4:30pm with an optional Networking Event from 5:00 - 7:00pm; and April 15, 2026, 9:00am - 3:30pm.

Selected participants will be provided overnight accommodations for Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Please check the box below ONLY if you would like to be considered for the available overnight accommodations.
