Horizons 2019 Application Introduction

Dear Brother,

Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit. We appreciate your time, wish you the best of luck and look forward to reviewing your application.

This application is due no later than 11:59 p.m. CST on Jan. 31, 2019. Absolutely no applications will be accepted after this deadline.

Please be sure to read all instructions and information, as there are time-sensitive steps and questions requiring careful precision. You will be unable to save and revisit the online application. Therefore, this part of your application must be completed and submitted at the same time.

The application is structured as a multi-section process. Below, you will find a list of the steps that you are required to complete before submitting your application. Additionally, you will find application notes that will give you better insight into the steps that follow your submission.

Finally, since this application must be started and submitted at the same time, we recommend that you fully prepare your responses to the essay questions ahead of time, and then copy those responses into the application. The essay questions can be found at sigmachi.org/horizons, under the "application" tab.

If you are accepted into the program you will be expected to attend one of the five sessions this summer. The dates of the five Horizons sessions are:
-Session 1: June 2 to June 9
-Session 2: June 9 to June 16
-Session 3: June 16 to June 23
-Session 4: July 6 to July 14
-Session 5: July 14 to July 21

If you are applying to summer jobs, internships, or schools please make sure that you notify them that you will have to miss one week if accepted into the program. Should you be accepted, and cancel within four weeks of your session, you will be required to pay for your spot being unfilled. A member of the Horizons Board will be more than happy to speak with any employer to explain the benefits of this program for you and the company where you will be working or interning if needed.

Decisions will be sent out in March.
