Informed Consent

Welcome! My name is Matthew Bednarick, and I am a 2010 Alumnus from Moravian College. The study that you have volunteered to participate in attempts to further investigate the relationship between video games and attitudes, behaviors, and feelings in video game players. The study involves completing a series of surveys, including one on demographic information. It is important to note that if you choose to participate in this study, please be sure to respond to every question as truthfully as possible, which will allow us to collect accurate data.

This study should take no more than 1 hour to complete, and your data will be kept anonymous. This study is designed so that you should be at no risk psychologically. However, if you believe that this study has psychologically influenced you, then you can contact the Counseling Center at Moravian College, extension 1510. You should also be aware that you can choose to end the study at any time if you feel that you need to, and your data will not be used. Even if you complete the study, and you decide that you don’t want your data to be used, then it will not be used.
