Submitting an EOI allows us to: assess your event's potential eligibility, provide advice on suitable regional destinations and venues, notify you when the funding program officially opens, begin early discussions to support your bid or planning.

Please note that this is not a funding application and does not guarantee funding. To be eligible for the Regional Business Events Program, events must not be contractually committed or publicly announced before funding approval.

Please note: This form is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only and does not constitute an application for funding or guarantee funding.

All EOIs will be assessed against the Regional Business Events Program eligibility criteria. If an EOI is considered potentially eligible, the applicant will be contacted by Business Events Victoria to discuss the event, undertake an assessment and determine the next steps.

Applicants deemed eligible and wishing to proceed will be required to submit a formal funding application as part of the Regional Business Events Program.

Business Events Victoria will work with potential applicants throughout this process and provide guidance and support in preparing their formal submission.
