Award Information

The Recreation Program of the Year award shall be awarded to a recreation program that has performed above and beyond with the development of soccer at the grassroots level.

The deadline for submission is December 4th, 2026.

Winners will be notified in December.

Winners will receive an award and be recognized at the 2027 NJYS Awards Celebration presented by RWJBarnabas Health on February 7th, 2027.
To be eligible for nomination, a program shall meet the following requirements:
  • Be an NJYS Member Club in good standing during the 2026-2027 seasonal year (e.g., Fall 2026) with recreational player and coach registrations.
  • Was an NJYS Member Club in good standing during the 2025-2026 seasonal year (e.g., Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026) with recreational player and coach registrations.
  • 100% of its players are currently registered with NJYS and US Youth Soccer.
