Band 7- *$50 Band Fee* Full Year Elective Students will learn the fundamentals of music through the study of Major and Minor scales, etudes, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, meter, rhythm, key, phrasing, application of style, historical techniques and ideas of composer. *This class will include after school activities that may be graded*

Choir 7- *$20 Choir Fee* Full Year Elective Students will learn vocal and musical techniques with an emphasis on vocal performance. Students will perform at our Veteran’s Day program and have Christmas and Spring concerts. Students will also attend district and state festivals.

Quest for Success- *High School Credit* Full Year Elective Students will explore career options as well as learn about keys to success.

Keyboarding 7- *High School Credit* Students will increase typing fluency and complete different projects using Microsoft office.

Art 7- Students will create different projects using mediums such as paint, graphite, watercolor, and charcoal.

Spanish 7- Spanish 7: Students will discover a new language as well as another culture. *For students who want to take Spanish I and earn a high school credit in 8th grade, they must take Spanish 6, Spanish 7, and pass the End of Course Test in 8th grade.

STEAM- This class utilizes a hands on approach to introductory computer science, coding, computer animation, drone technologies, robotics construction, testing and programming.

Horticulture 7 ½ year/ Art 7 ½ year- Horticulture: Students will learn more advanced parts and functions of a plant, as well as past, present, and future environmental processes. The environment of this class is hands-on. Students will work individually and in groups. • Art: Students will create different projects using mediums such as paint, graphite, watercolor, and charcoal.
