What is the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)?

Use your voice! Less money? More money? What actions should we keep funding?

The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes our school's goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for REACH Leadership STEAM Academy (REACH) to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet our local needs. We prepare the 2020-21 LCAP at the end of the 2019-20 school year.

REACH administration is proposing we condense our current four goals to three. We ask our community members to:

  1. Learn about the California School Dashboard.
  2. Interact with REACH's own dashboard page and explore our student data.
  3. Provide feedback on actions and services listed below in the proposed condensed goals for next year.
Getting to Know the California School Dashboard:

The California School Dashboard (https://www.caschooldashboard.org) is an online tool designed to help communities across the state access important information about K–12 schools and districts. The Dashboard features easy-to-read reports on multiple measures of school success. The Dashboard is just one step in a series of changes that have raised the bar for student learning, transformed testing, and increased the focus on equity.

Please review REACH Leadership STEAM Academy's performance in comparison to the state on all 10 indicators of school success. REACH's performance can also be broken down by each Student Group.
