About us
The Faculty is pleased to provide consultation service on bioinformatics for grants proposals development/research project planning. The consultation service will be made available free of charge to researchers in the Medical Faculty in the grade of Postdoctoral Fellows and above. For other researchers and RPg students, consultation should be initiated and accompanied by their supervisors.
The objective of the consultation service is to provide expert advice on the following aspects of bioinformatics for grants proposal development and research project planning:
- Biomarker discovery
- Cancer genomics
- Epigenomics and chromatin analysis
- Integrative multi-omic analysis
- Internet of Things (wearable devices, smartphone app, cloud computing)
- Machine learning
- Medical big data analysis
- Metagenomics
- Proteomics and metabolomics
- Rare disease genomics
- Single cell analysis
- Software development
- Statistical modelling
- Systems biology / pathway analysis
- Transcriptomics
- Whole genome/exome sequencing
The Faculty will try its best to offer services to as many researchers as possible, however please note that due to the need to balance demands and the availability of resources, requests will be entertained on a first-come, first-served basis. We appreciate your kind understanding in advance if your request cannot be met due to overwhelming responses.
