NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!
Each year GNRC honors local governments in the Greater Nashville Region which have exhibited excellence, outstanding accomplishments, achievements, or innovations in any of the following areas of public service as it relates to these six general categories:
Outstanding effort in other areas will be considered for special awards. We also encourage public/private partnerships which demonstrate a relationship with the local government for the purpose of completing a project that will serve the public in the community and/or the Greater Nashville region.
The activities to be considered for local governments should have been accomplished or completed within the prior year (July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019), unless otherwise indicated. A member local government (county or municipality) may nominate itself or another local government.
Award winners will be recognized at GNRC’s annual meeting and luncheon on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country in Hendersonville. Attendance is not required.
Nominations must be submitted no later than Friday, September 6, 2019.
