The Help Me Grow National Center invites members of the HMG National Affiliate Network to join the 2023 Forum Planning Committee!

The 2023 Help Me Grow (HMG) National Forum is an exciting opportunity for HMG affiliates and their partners to network, learn from one another, and develop new and supportive connections across the HMG community. Now in its 14th year, HMG will embrace all of our experience hosting the Forum both in-person and virtually, offering the best of all worlds.

What Is the Forum Planning Committee?

Every year, the HMG Forum Planning Committee (FPC) helps shape what the Forum will be and how it will run. The FPC is composed of individuals from across the HMG National Network who volunteer to represent the affiliate perspective and ensure that the Forum experience will provide maximum value to HMG affiliates.

Members of the FPC will assist the HMG National Center and our Texas co-hosts consider and make decisions about key elements, such as breakout session content, focuses for networking, and keynote selection. See the full Roles & Responsibilities here for more.

Meeting Dates

The FPC will convene for eight hour-long sessions between May and October 2023 on the following Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00pm Eastern:

May 9, 2023
June 27, 2023
July 25, 2023
August 8, 2023
August 29, 2023
September 12, 2023
October 3, 2023
October 24, 2023

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:

An active member of a HMG system at any stage of implementation (e.g., State Lead, HMG Leadership Team member, former/active Core Component Work Group member, HMG staff member, brand new system, well-established system, etc.).
Able to attend the first FPC meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 3:00-4:00 pm Eastern.
Able to attend most/all FPC meetings (dates provided above).
Able to attend the Virtual Event on October 17, 2023.
Able to perform the outlined roles and responsibilities.

Incentive
To recognize the time and effort provided by FPC members, the HMG National Center will waive this year’s registration fee for both the Virtual Event and In-Person Summit. Waived registrations apply only to Committee members and are non-transferrable.

Should you be selected to participate in the FPC, the HMG National Center will waive registration fee for the Virtual Event component of Forum Week 2023 in recognition of the time and effort provided in support of the FPC.
