* 3. Non-Profit of the Year - A non-profit that has significantly contributed to the growth and betterment of Johnson County through its involvement in the Chamber and other civic/governmental organizations.

* 4. New Business of the Year - A new business that has exceptional growth and entrepreneurship and will reflect the first one to two years of its existence. This award is based on how the start-up was achieved, the strength of the business and how it has performed so far, as well as potential for future growth.

* 5. Restaurant of the Year - A restaurant that consistency reflects excellent service, quality and pricing in their business. As well as, how it has contributed to the growth and betterment of Johnson County through their involvement in the Chamber and other civic/governmental organizations.

* 6. Employer of the Year - This award recognizes commitment to staff. We’re looking for evidence of a business that invests in its team, perhaps with staff rewards, training or long-service recognition. This award is also based on evidence of how that investment is also good for the business holistically as well as levels of performance.

* 7. Outstanding Customer Service/Hospitality - A business that has displayed outstanding customer service and hospitality to its customers.  A business that goes above and beyond to serve its customers in Johnson County.

* 8. Community Volunteer of Year - An individual who has volunteered in the community, and has served on local/state/national organizations that address the enhancement of quality of life in Johnson County.

Pillar of Progress/Lifetime Achievement - A Chamber member that possesses leadership qualities, and whose outstanding actions over a period of years has enhanced the quality of life of the citizens of Johnson County. The individual should also possess qualities that include honesty, integrity and the respect of the community.

* 10. Lee White Legacy Award - An individual who is a Member of the Chamber, in a leadership position, has committed personal time and/or resources, has lived in the community for a minimum of 10 years, and is retiring or leaving the community.
