Join us for the Active Play! Workshop created by Dr. Diane Crafts, and hosted by 5-2-1-0 Let's Go! You will also receive FREE 2.5 Contact Hours to go towards your childcare license with attendence (or however many hours you can attend.).
Date: Tueday June 11th, 2019
Location: Central Maine Medical Center- Conference Rooms A,B & C. The entrance to the conference rooms are located at 12 High Street Lewiston, ME 04240.
To find conference rooms: Enter 12 High Street Lewiston building, walk through sliding glass doors, walk past welcome desk and elevators, walk down stairs to your left, all conference rooms are in the basement. Conference Rooms A,B & C will be on your right after stairs by the elevators.
Food: Healthy Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Parking: Park for free in the parking garage off the main entrance, or surrounding parking lots on campus. Do not park where there are ticket gates (this is employee parking only).

Learn the importance of physical activity to the physical, emotional and cognitive development of young children. Dr. Craft’s enthusiastic presentation style provides for plenty of interesting and fun hands-on, practical experiences for participants.
More about Dr. Diane Crafts
Dr. Diane Craft has been working since 1998 to improve the physical activity opportunities for preschool children with and without disabilities. She established Active Play Books in 2007 to provide a platform to make her knowledge and ideas accessible for child care providers and managers of child-focused organizations.
Professor Craft teaches in the Physical Education Department at State University of New York at Cortland. She has won numerous professional awards for her work, and has given over 100 presentations and workshops on preschool physical activities to local, state, national and international audiences.
