The Beaver Lake Fire Department provides fire, medical first response, and rescue services to our community as well as
neighboring jurisdictions. Founded in 1979 as a rural all volunteer fire department with one fire station in the Beaver Shores
neighborhood, the modern Beaver Lake Fire Department is a suburban fire department that consists of two fire stations, one fulltime paid chief, 8 daytime station firefighters (1 per day), and 10 paid-per-call firefighters. Covering approximately 18 square miles of unincorporated Benton County east of the City of Rogers, Scenic Hwy 12 runs through our district and it contains the Prairie Creek Marina, one of the largest marinas in the state. The explosive growth of Northwest Arkansas in recent years has brought many challenges to area Fire and Emergency Service organizations. Here at Beaver Lake Fire Department we have seen a 25% increase in emergency calls in the last decade, and a 30% decrease in volunteers over the same period.

The Beaver Lake Fire Department is committed to providing high quality fire and life safety service in our community, thereby enhancing the quality of life for our residents, businesses, and all the visitors that travel through our district.
