Research Title: How Public Libraries Can Become More Accessible to Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Summary: The purpose of this survey is to determine where public libraries have excelled and where they can improve upon providing accommodations and accessibility to those with developmental disabilities.
Definition: A developmental disability can be defined as a chronic condition that affects behavior, learning capabilities, language, and/or physical attributes, with symptoms occurring before adulthood. Examples include:
- Autism
- Cerebral Palsy
- Dyslexia
- Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
- Down Syndrome
Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to participate in this survey, please do not complete the survey.
This survey is anonymous. Please do not include any identifying information in your responses such as your name, address, place of employment, relatives' names, etc. Data collected in this survey will not be able to identify you.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this survey. If you are under the age of 18, please do not complete this survey.
