Building a Healthy Community together makes healthier choice the easier choice by giving residents of Edson a host of healthy options that are affordable and accessible. Focusing on the community of Edson as a whole The Healthy Places Action Tool on Healthy Eating is a tool used to gain a better understanding or “a snapshot” on the strengths, assets and areas for improvement for Edson residents to make healthier choices by making food and beverage choices more available, building awareness and promoting positive attitudes and social norms, and adapting policies and funding that support overall well-being in Edson.
